What Does BLIK Offer?
In 2013, top banking institutions initiated a collaborative project, leading to the creation of BLIK, which is now a mobile payment staple for 13 million people in Poland and is practically available as a payment method in every mobile casino in Poland.
Technically, BLIK is a versatile system that integrates seamlessly with various banking platforms. It offers a wealth of benefits to the users, including:
- ATM cash withdrawal without a card, using only a code;
- Casino fund transfers using just the recipient's phone number;
- Ability to issue BLIK cheques for quick money transfers without requiring the recipient's bank account or internet access;
- One-tap shopping at previously visited stores without entering BLIK passcodes (BLIK One Click).
Fees
BLIK fees vary depending on the mobile banking app you are using. You can find more about BLIK fees in the price list of your bank's app. To know more, check out BLIK’s FAQ section.
Is BLIK Safe?
Both the BLIK payment processing service and the mobile banking app are laden with several safety features, including:
- Enhanced security through personal details verification by the user’s bank;
- Robust biometric security features, such as fingerprints, paired with PIN and password;
- Unique transaction codes generated by Polski Standard Płatności (valid for only 2 minutes) for every transaction;
- Complete control over financial activities with real-time transaction tracking.
How to Use BLIK at a Casino?
With BLIK, you can pay quickly and safely. Here's how to use it at an online casino:
- Go to the 'Cashier' section of the online casino;
- Choose BLIK as your payment method;
- Open your banking app to get the 6-digit BLIK code;
- Enter this code on the casino's payment page;
- Confirm the transaction.
Do you play games at the same casino?
If 'yes', simply add the online casino to the "Remembered" section in your banking app to bypass the code and pay even faster.
Is BLIK Worth It?
With BLIK, I could effortlessly and securely make my casino payments during my stay in Warsaw: I punched in the 6-digit code at various BLIK casinos and approved my payments almost instantly. If you shop and play casino games in Poland, BLIK is unparalleled.
However, its absence outside Poland does feel like a missed beat for some users. If you are from outside Poland, you might want to choose cross-country payment methods like PayPal.
