STHLM Gaming, established in 2016 and headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, is a notable player in the online casino software industry. Since introducing their first game in 2017, they've been making a name for themselves.
For those wondering, STHLM is an acronym for Stockholm, the city where the studio is based.
A noteworthy feature of theirs is the STHLMGAMING Smart All Devices™ technology, which ensures that their games work seamlessly on both mobile and desktop devices. Whether playing on desktops, tablets, mobiles, or apps, the games adapt effortlessly to both landscape and portrait modes.
Additionally, the games also adapt themselves to various screen sizes and aspect ratios while maintaining their resolution, making the experience as similar as possible on all devices. To test this mechanic, I tried a few of their games on our mobile online casino list.
STHLM partnered up with Relax Gaming back in 2018 which gave them a headstart and their games reached a wider audience.
STHLM Gaming places a strong emphasis on providing a clean and uncluttered GUI. Their user-friendly design ensures players can quickly understand and enjoy the gaming experience without unnecessary distractions.
The software provider focuses on creating games with a higher level of volatility, all while maintaining a simplicity that appeals to players. They might not be one for in-game features but I found that they still have:
- Booster Reel
- Wild Reel
- Retriggering Free Spins
- Nudging Wilds
- Random Multipliers
- Free Spins
Now, let’s get to my recommended games. First up, the artsy people among us would love Van Gogh. It might be one of their earlier titles but it features their rare progressive free spins mechanic and a sweet RTP range of 96.83%.
Another interesting slot I tried which was the complete opposite of my previous recommendation was Icarus Wilds. The game has high volatility and features nudging, locked, and multiplier wild symbols with a max win of 16,864x.
The provider doesn’t showcase their licenses and certifications on their website.
