Our poker simulator helps you decide when you should fold, call, or raise the bet. It uses RNG to "shuffle" and deal cards fairly, so no hand is stacked for or against you. I've played a few hands on this online poker simulator, and I'll tell you how to use it correctly.

What Is a Poker Simulator, and How Can It Help Me?

The poker simulator on this page lets you play for free, against the computer. You can try out strategies and see how well you play, without being pressured to adjust your gameplay to a safer one.

Even more, if you get the hang of this game, you can then put your new skills to use, playing against live dealers at operators with Casino Hold'Em games.

You can play more variants

While the default game shown is Poker Texas Hold'em (which is in fact Casino Hold'em), by Vibra Gaming, you can choose from 9 other variants. These also include three-card and four-card poker, seven-card stud, and Caribbean stud.

How to Understand and Use Our Poker Simulator Online

First off, you should know the basics of Casino Hold'em. If you don't, I recommend first learning about poker hand rankings. After you get that out of the way, using our tool is pretty straightforward. Here's a step-by-step guide on it:

  • Set your ante bet. You can do so using the chips in the bottom-left corner of your screen. They range from $0.10 to $1,000 (which are just demo funds).
  • Place the stake and deal the cards. Press on the "Ante" space to buy in with your chip value. You can do so more than once to achieve a larger ante value. After that, just press "Deal" to start the round.
  • Review your hand. If you think it won't win anything, you can fold it and forfeit the buy-in. Otherwise, pressing "Raise" will add twice the ante value to the total bet. For example, if you've got a $1 ante, you'll end up with a total bet of $3.
  • Check or raise the stake. After seeing the flop, you can add the 4th card (the turn) to the current bet. If you're confident in your chances, you can also bump it up with the ante value.
  • Reveal the river (5th card). You can follow the steps above for the turn, after which you'll reveal the river, plus the dealer's hand. The simulator will automatically rank the hands and decide the winner.
  • Rebet or clear the table. Rebetting will keep the same ante, while clearing the table lets you set a different one.

Only clearing the table resets the ante

If you change your bet but haven't cleared the table, buying in again will still use your previous stake.

When Should I Raise The Bet or Fold?

You see, revealing the flop in our free poker simulator is kind of a big step. It takes x2 of your buy-in, after you've already paid it. So, you need to be confident in your first two cards.

Laying out possibilities for every possible starting hand is impractical, but here are the odds of the flop (first 3 community cards) landing you combinations, based on your dealt hand:

Flop result

Required starting hand

Probability

Pair at least one hole card

Two unpaired cards

32.4%

Exactly one pair using one hole card

Two unpaired cards

26.9%

Two pair by pairing both hole cards

Two unpaired cards

2%

Exactly a set

A pocket pair

11.5%

Set or four of a kind

A pocket pair

11.7%

Exactly a flush draw

Two suited cards

10.9%

Made flush

Two suited cards

0.8%

Flush draw or made flush

Two suited cards

11.7%

Also, this tool is slightly different from the real deal. If you need time to think, to check probabilities, and so on, you can just take your time, without having the dealer continue the game. That's perhaps one of the reasons some play at video poker casinos instead.

The Good and Bad Parts of Using Our Poker Simulator for Free

You can use this poker simulator free of charge to replicate what you'd see at a regular Casino Hold'em table. There, there'll be a real dealer handling the cards, and you'll have to make your decisions relatively quickly.

If you're not ready to handle that, you could also try our video poker simulator to see if it suits you. Also, you should use this free online poker simulator responsibly. It's one of the most enjoyable games out there, but only if you spend a reasonable amount of time on it.
