Wager Gaming Technology (WGS), previously known as Odds On Gaming, has evolved significantly since its establishment in 1996, but its games have always been a favorite among casino players who look for slots with free spins.
Originally launched as a provider of secure internet-based money transfers to e-commerce sites, it quickly expanded its scope. Recognizing a broader market need, the company ventured into software development and opened offices in Antigua and Barbuda.
It underwent another transformation when it was acquired and rebranded as Wager Gaming Technology. Despite these changes, the company has consistently retained its favorable reputation among players, particularly within the US market.
Today, WGS boasts an extensive portfolio of over 190 games, largely dominated by:
- Slot games;
- Table games;
- Tournaments.
Since 2011, WGS has carved a niche for itself in the online casino industry, powering respected brands like.
Among its notable contributions is its dedicated mobile casino software, which has become increasingly popular.
Originally featuring a modest six games, including table games and slots like the popular Hot Roller and Funky Chicken, the software ensures an engaging experience for players.
The latter game, Funky Chicken, is a farm-themed fun slot that comes with ample bonus features. I had a good laugh when I came across its quirky in-game characters and eventually hit the jackpot too.
Upon diving into its 5-reel video slot Cool Bananas, I was initially puzzled by its seemingly random theme. But as I played on, I recognized a quirky twist on the classic King Kong tale.
Instead of the iconic beastly ape, here I was, navigating a vibrant cityscape with a cheeky monkey sporting sunglasses and a Hawaiian shirt, confidently perched atop a skyscraper with a blonde woman in his grasp.
